DPSP is also regulated by the Ministry of Justice in relation to claims management activities, but we do so much more than claims management.

We differ from traditional Debt management Companies as we do not use a “one size fits all” approach when looking at a solution for our clients. How We Work
Once you have decided to work with DPSP to regain control over your financial freedom, we will formulate an action plan to cover the SHORT, MEDIUM and LONG term, this could include the following:
SHORT TERM: We will offer EMERGENCY protection for our client, this could be helping with bailiff action, repossession proceedings, dealing with problem creditors and debt collection agencies and generally helps the client take back control.
The short term plan is ideal if you are currently out of work, struggling to pay your creditors and need breathing space to get yourself back on your feet, or you may simply be worried about getting into further debt in the future. We can help.
MEDIUM TERM: This is where DPSP will look at ways in which we can help you become DEBT FREE. We aim to achieve this inside 12 months but it really does depend upon individual circumstances and we cannot promise this in every case.
We have at our disposal a full range of financial products to help us achieve this, ranging from looking at whether a client’s unsecured or secured credit agreements under £25k are legally enforceable, is the client due redress on their mortgage, secured loans or hire purchase agreements due to the misadministration or miscalculation of their loan, through to the more traditional Debt Management tools. The more traditional solutions that we offer include Debt Management Plans, Individual Voluntary Arrangements and Bankruptcy.
Also during this stage we begin to look at the client’s property situation, do they wish to stay in their property or move. Depending upon the clients goals we can help them by looking at purchasing their property, finding an investor to purchase their property or arranging an Option agreement. We can also assist with finding the client alternative rental accommodation or merely negotiate better terms with their lender.
LONG TERM: DPSP can help you plan your future. Now that you are, or are on your way to becoming DEBT FREE, we will work with you to protect yourself against future financial issues, build a savings safety net and get a foot on the property ladder, stay on the ladder or even build your own property portfolio.
